Open to Girls & Boys!

Program Overview
The Chesterfield Hockey Association in partnership with the Maryville University Hockey program will offer a 7 week intense & exciting Spring development program starting March of 2020. This program is open to girls and boys and is designed for every level of player from AAA to Recreational to the 6U Mini-Mite.

It will be run by coaches from the Chesterfield Hockey Central States program as well as coaches and players from the Maryville University Hockey program.

There will be a mix of forward and defensive coaches for each level; and goalie coaches and goalie specific training will also be provided at the 10U and older levels. Instruction will be skill level appropriate and challenging to help each player reach their maximum potential.

Program Cost
All 10U-18U teams will additionally participate in a spring tournament. Participation is optional. The tournament fee is not included in this program cost.

Tournament Cost for 10U-18U Age Groups
Tournament fees (including travel, hotel & food) are an additional cost and ARE NOT included in the program fee. The tournament fee will be determined after teams have been formed.

 

  • Premier teams will participate in the tournament on May 15th through May 17th in Chicago.
     
  • Elite teams & Lady Falcons teams will participate in the tournament on May 3rd through May 5th in St Louis.

Program Schedule
The spring program will run from March 23rd through May 17th. The program will meet twice a week with sessions focusing on skating, edge work, puck & shooting skills, as well as hockey concepts.

  • 10U & older Co-Ed teams: Players will be evaluated and placed on an appropriate skill level team. Team evaluation dates will be on March 9th and 11th. Attendance is mandatory for evaluations. We will post specific times for each age group as we get closer to March 9th.
     
  • 10U & older Lady Falcons teams: No team placement evaluations
     
  • 6U & 8U Teams (Co-Ed & Lady Falcons): No team placement evaluations

Games will also be held to help further supplement the skills learned during development.
